An alleged state sponsored good raided the former president Uhuru Kenyatta’s Northan land, cut down trees using a power saw and stole goats, and sheeps as opposition chief Raila Odinga led demonstration in Nairobi against the rising cost of living.
“From Utawala to Kamakis where Northlands is located is a 10 mins drive. We have both the GSU and AP College in Utawala. Reacting to the acts, the Homa Bay Mp Peter Kaluma wondered who will invest in a country where the state sponsored goons destroys properties.
“Who will invest in a country where the state aids goons to raid private property/enterprise? Never give the masses the taste of blood, they will always seek more. Expect other farms to be raided after this… you know whose is next…” Said Kaluma.
In the looting chine, the opposition chief Raila Odinga’s East Africa Spectre Limited gas plant was attacked on Monday after unknown persons stoned a section of the property.
In videos obtained by K47 digital news, a number of windows were shattered by stones with stones littering the premise’s entrance.
Another viral CCTV footage shared by social media users shows about 20 people throwing stones outside the gate.
Humphrey Waswa, who is a security and safety manager at the company, detailed that the people arrived at the premise on motorbikes and started throwing stones for about 30 minutes before police officers arrived and dispersed the crowds.
According to Humphrey Waswa, they were being supported with four unmarked vehicles (land cruisers) and they suspect their target was Managing Director because her office has been most damaged.
