Sports: Xavi speaks on signing Goal Keeper.
Xavier Hernández Creus, also known as Xavi Hernández or simply Xavi says they aren’t signing in a new Goal Keeper soo.
In a statement on X formally Twitter, Xavi, who is a Spanish professional football manager and former player who is currently the manager of La Liga club Barcelona says they are confident in their players
Xavi, widely considered one of the greatest midfielders of all time, described Inaki Pena, the current Goal Keeper as someone who “has been playing at a very high level”.
“We will NOT sign a new GK to replace ter Stegen — as we have confidence in our players and Inaki Pena has been playing at a very high level”.” Said Xavi.
Adding: “We also believe that ter Stegen will come back soon”.
Xavi was renowned for his passing, vision, ball retention, and positioning.
He won 32 trophies in his career, making him the second-most decorated Spanish player in history, behind former teammate Andrés Iniesta.
