Someone’s open sugar factory in Kericho – MCA clarifies why Jaswant’s targeted by state.

The Kieleleshwa Member of County Assembly Robert Alai has clarified on why the Government is going after a business Tycoon Jaswant Singh.

The Gov’t had, in previous days accused Jaswant Singh of money laundering and illegal suga importation.

Robert Alai, a blogger who swung into politics is seeing Jaswant Singh crucification as a ploy help someone from Rift Valley who has opened a sugar and has no sugar to crush.

“Jaswant Singh Rai is not being crucified because of some money laundering or illegal importation of sugar.

“He is being crucified because someone built a sugar factory in Kericho (West Valley Sugar Factory in Kapsoit) and now it doesn’t have sugar cane to crush.” Said Alai.

Adding: “Jaswant Singh has to be driven out of the market.”

According to blogger Cyprian Nyakundi, “For a long time, Jaswant Singh Rai has been untouchable.He has survived the Moi regime, Kibaki regime, Uhuru Kenyatta regime but now he has met his match. President Ruto should borrow some tips on how South Africa dealt with Gupta state capture and how Putin froze the Oligarchs.”
