    • Bachelor’s Degree in Education:
      • First Class: 5 points
      • Second Class: 4 points
      • Pass: 3 points
    • Diploma in Education:
      • Distinction: 5 points
      • Credit: 4 points
      • Pass: 3 points
  2. Age of the Applicant (Maximum 10 Points)
    • 50 years and above: 10 points
    • 45–49 years: 9 points
    • 40–44 years: 8 points
    • 39 years and below: 7 points
  3. Teaching Subjects (Maximum 65 Points)
    • One science subject (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics): up to 40 points
    • One technical or creative arts subject (e.g., Computer Studies, Business Studies, Music, Art & Design): up to 25 points
    • One language (e.g., English, Kiswahili, French): up to 5 points
    • Two humanities subjects (e.g., History, Religious Studies): up to 65 points
  4. Length of Stay Since Qualifying as a Teacher (Maximum 20 Points)
    • Qualified in 2015 or earlier: 20 points
    • 2016: 18 points
    • 2017: 16 points
    • 2018: 14 points
    • 2019: 12 points
    • 2020: 10 points
    • 2021: 8 points
    • 2022: 6 points
