Odinga Mourn Another freedom fighter, 1969 detainee.

The Azimio La Umoja Boss Raila Amolo Odinga has mourned the death of Daniel Koroko, a freedom fighter.

Odinga hailed him as a freedom fighter who spent his life championing the changes for generations to come.

“Daniel Korokoro, who passed on earlier today, was a renowned freedom fighter who spent his life championing causes across generations.” Said Odinga.

“Starting with the war for independence then the post-independence turmoil, which led to his detention in 1969 as the last KPU President.” Odinga added.

Odinga recalled Mr Koroko’s determination on the fight for democracy.

“His unwavering determination and commitment to the cause carried over to the quest for multi-party democracy in the 1990s.”
