Ndindi Nyoro asks Odinga to “stop politicizing” 2023 financial Bill

Chairman of the Budget Committee of the National Assembly Ndindi Nyoro has called on the opposition to stop politicizing the process of developing the budget for 2023-2024.

Speaking at a funeral in the Muranga area on Saturday, MP Kiharu said that Kenyans will give their contributions as the treasury budget and proposal development process has not yet been completed.

Nyoro said that the proposal submitted by the Ministry of Finance will be modified to reach an agreement between the government and residents.

Nyoro detailed that the finance bill comes before the budget as it shows where the government intends to get money to fund the budget.

“I want to announce to Kenyans that the finance bill and budget estimates are not dictatorial booklets and documents.” Ndindi Nyoro affirmed.

Nyoro noted that they listen to the Kenyan people and that is what they are doing.

The controversial bill seeks to increase tax bracket in an attempt by the Gov’t to source out funds for its project and bloated Gov’t bills
