The Majority leader Kimani Ichungwa has hit out at the opposition Chief Raila Amolo Odinga over his recent press release.
In a statement via twitter, the outspoken Kikuyu Me noted that Odinga instigated post election violence so that he can use the Anarchy and bloodshed to ride into another handshake.
“So it is as we said,@RailaOdinga hoped to instigate Post-election Violence,use the ANARCHY & BLOODSHED to ride on to yet another Handshake regime?” Ichungwah said in a statement.
He noted that looting, violence, arson, rape and land invasion were planned by Odinga and his sponsors.
“We said; -the looting, rape, arson, land invasions & killings were all planned with a motive.Mzee & your Sponsor, FORGET another Handshake!.” Ichungwah added.
This comes after hours after Odinga’s press statement, where he laid down four points the Azimio team want Inthe dialogue:
1. Addressing the cost of living. This meeting agreed that high cost of living is urgent and cant wait.
2. Audit of servers. This meeting agreed that Auditing the 2022 election servers is necessary and urgent.
3. Reform and reconstitution of the IEBC. This meeting agreed that electoral reforms are urgent and necessary for future elections
4. Fidelity to the letter and spirit of multiparty democracy in parliament.
Odinga further noted that the Azimio, after holding up a meeting resolves that a purely parliamentary process may not serve the intended ends.
“Our suggestion is to have a conversation at the national level through a process akin to the 2008 National Accord.” Odinga said.
