A Kenyan Man, only identified by his social media name as Jose Kamanja is crying for justice years after leg cut.
The young man, in long post says he was allegedly hit by a lorry insured with Amazon insurance company. He says he was in class 8 when the incident occurred.
“It was in 2014 when I was hit by a lorry insured with Amaco Insurance. I was in class 8 by then and I was going to school in the morning.” Said Jose.
He details that he spend a year in hospital, repeated class 8 in 2015 and family launched a case for justice which now appears elusive.
“I spent an year in the hospital. Nikarudia 2015 and after some recovering my family set up a case.’ he said.
The family reportedly won the case and the the Court awarded them over Ksh1.7M but nothing has been paid to date.
“We won it in 2018 because mwenye lori ndiye alikuwa na makosa. The ruling stated that Amaco Should pay us the said amount. Some for the court, some for the lawyer and some for us. But since 2018 nothing has been paid up to now.”
The young man further says he studied under harsh conditions which prompted a leg cut in 2021 December.
“Nilisoma na mashida, mguu ikinisumbua mpaka ikabidi ikatwe in 2021 December.”
To add salt to injuries, the same insurance company has been allegedly taking Jose in rounds while threatening him. He says he just want justice.
“Amaco wameishi kunizungusha and even threatening me . So I just want justice on this . Coz me ni kama nimefika mwisho. #JusticeForKamanja.” He concluded.
