KDF-NPS team to remain in Bandit torn areas – Kindiki.

The Interior CS Kithure Kindiki says the ongoing Joint NPS- KDF Operation Maliza Uhalifu in six Counties of North Rift Valley is aimed at restoring and ensuring peace and security.

He noted that the multi-agency security team will remain on the ground to ensure that bandits and other armed criminals do not regroup to terrorise residents, Even after the operation is concluded.

Kindiki, who visited Mukogodo Forest says it is part of the areas gazetted as dangerous and disturbed.

“It is out of bounds for all unauthorised persons. Security officers will continue to comb the forest and pursue all criminals holed up there.”

Kindiki also visited the Naibor ASTU Camp in Laikipia North Constituency to give moral support to the multi agency security team that recovered all the 75 heads of cattle stolen from Enasoit Ranch earlier this week.
