The Office Of Director of Public Prosecution says the Media personality Jacque Maribe and her boyfriend Joseph Irungu have a case to answer.
The is according to the ruling from lady Justice Grace Nzioka.
“Media personality Jacque Maribe & Joseph Irungu alias, Jowie, have a case to answer in the Monica Kimani murder trial”. Said Justice Nzioka
He noted that the prosecution proved the case beyond reasonable doubt.
Prosecution’s SADPP, Catherine Mwaniki & ADPP, Wangui Gichuhi, reportedly presented witnesses who took the court through exhibits collected by investigators from the scenes of crime that showed that the 2 jointly participated in the murder of Monica Kimani in 2018.
Forensic evidence collected and analyzed, reveals that Jowie left Monica’s premise on the night of the incident, which evidence was corroborated by the prosecution witnesses.
Defense hearing took place between 11th & 12th May, 2023.
