Earlier on Sutarday 8th April 2023 morning, a multi -agency security team acted on information provided by members of the public, and successfully recovered one AK-47 rifle, two magazines, forty two rounds of ammunition, and porches at Ifo Area in Daadab Sub-County, Garissa County.
National Police Service says two suspects in connection with robbery with violence were arrested during the operation.
The two suspects were placed in custody pending processing and arraignment.
NPS commends members of the public for providing timely information that led to the recovery of the firearms, and arrest of the suspects.
