“I finally did it”: woman shares how she managed to shed weight in 6 months.

A woman, only Identified by her social media name as Titilayomi, has shared her journey of shedding weight.

She says she started her journey in January 2023 while at 95.9 Kg.

She says she set up realistic goal of losing about 20 to 30KG in six months time.

“I started my journey at 95.9kg in January, before i started, i had to set a realistic goal of 20-30kg in 6 months.”

She detailed, “all through January, I was weight lifting and changed my diet but I only lost 2.3kg. I had to read a-lot about ways to lose weight.”

She says, she stumbled on intermittent fasting and calorie deficit and had to start doing her research.

“So how intermittent fasting works is, you get to fast for some hours consuming only water and eating for some hours but in smaller portions.” She advised.

She insight that the human body burns about 2000 calories/day with or without eating. “So the way to stay in calorie deficit is to eat like 1200-1500 calories so the body can use the fat reserve in the body to carry out daily functions.”

“I stopped eating Yam, junks, sugar, swallow, (palm oil and vegetable oil (not totally) and soft drinks. I made 100% of my food and I ate alot of vegetables, fibres and proteins.”

“I was also walking alot, i stopped using elevators , started using stair cases and I started walking to places I would normally take bikes to (close places around my house). I would also skip sometime in the evening if i feel energetic.

“I had to get a measuring scale to be able to accurately calculate my caloric intake. Asides being in caloric deficit, you still have to monitor what you eat in order to keep the blood sugar at a minimal rate so that fat loss can occur rapidly.”

She continues to detail that her fasting routine was eating her first meal by 10am and last meal by 6pm in a day, ” leaving my body to fast till 10am the next day. I consumed alot of water during this fasting period to keep my belly full.”

She shared a transformed body and she look create and fit.
