“Even a coma shall not be amended” – Senator on controversial 2023 financial Bill.

The Nandi County Senator Samson Cherargei has said the parliament will pass the 2023 financial Bill and “even a coma shall not be amended”

The senator detailed that we either borrow more money or the country raises it’s revenue through taxation.

“On the FINANCE BILL 2023 the decision to pass by Parliament is NOT optional where even coma shall not be amended be because we either borrow more or raise our own revenue through taxation.” Said Cherargei.

Cherargei pointed out that former head of state president Uhuru Kenyatta, with the help of Raila Odinga put the country in a debt running to 10 trillion.

“The serious public debt of 10T was put by Handshake govt of Uhuru/ Tinga that the kenyans are paying heavily now.”

“Tinga did not raise an objection in handshake Gov’t yet he was senior advisor to Uhuru then this hypocrisy should stop. This is because no new taxes are being introduced in the country. Kulipa ushuru ni kujitegemea !.” He said.
