A section of Mount Kenya leaders have received backlash after complaining over treasury’s failure to release devolution money.
In a statement via twitter, the former Mukurueni Mp Kabando Wakabando sarcastically called out the mount Kenya leaders over complaining yet they are in Gov’t.
According to Kabando, who singled out Gov’ Waiguru and DP Rigathi Gachagua, they should face the president instead of laying their complains on media.
“IBEC chair Rigathi & CoG chair Waiguru, both of UDA, were in Nyeri together with the other 4 complaining Mt.Kenya governors. President Ruto was with all of them a few days ago. To whom are these UDA honchos complaining in media about Treasury failure to release devolution money?” kabando Wakabando said in a post.
Kabando called out president William Someone Ruto for outrageous sabotage of devolution.
“Where is @Senate_KE? What are MCAs saying about outright sabotage of devolution by Ruto’s executive? If those accompanying Ruto/Rigathi daily hold sidelines media conferences to ‘petition’, aren’t they rewriting the biblical book of lamentations? Why not just say UDA HAS FAILED?” Said Kabando Wakabando.
