Police in Kisumu on 26th August 2023, reportedly arrested a female suspect, Janifer Imali, with suspected stolen phones.
The suspect, aged 30, was arrested in Kisumu within the Obunga area.
About recovered Forty nine (49) assorted mobile phones, and one HP laptop from her house.
Initially police reports show that the phones had been stolen from members of the public.
She will be arraigned on Monday, according to police reports.
“Police in Kisumu on 26th August 2023, arrested a female suspect, Janifer Imali, 30 within the Obunga area, and recovered Forty nine (49) assorted mobile phones, and one HP laptop from her house.
“Preliminary investigations suggest that the phones had been stolen from members of the public. She will be arraigned on Monday.” A police statement reads.
