Police in Parklands, Nairobi today August 15, 2023 reportedly recovered twelve million nine hundred and seventy five thousand Kenyan Shillings (Kshs. 12, 975,000/=).
A suspected drug believed to be marijuana was also seized following a multi-agency operation at Kariwa Slums in Ngara.
According to a police statement seen by the K47 digital news team, during the crackdown, four suspects namely, Eugene Jumba, Hillary Jumbo, Sheila Withers and Teresa Wanjiru were arrested with 26 bags of Canabis Sativa (Marijuana), four cartons of rolling materials, 173 pieces of suspected blended drug/bhang, 42 cartons each containing 200 pieces of cigarettes.
The case is said to under investigation by the DCI Anti-Narcotics Unit.
