The Former Mukurueni Mp Kabando Wakabando has said the attack in Lamu that has been going on in recent days is part of ethnic cleansings brought about by land invasion attempt.
He says land owned by locals is currently unsafe due to insecurity adding that Kikuyus are the main target in recent terrorist attacks.
“High probability that terrorist attacks in LAMU are part of ethnic cleansings orchestrated to perpetrate invasions of private lands.
“70% of Kenya’s landmass is presently unsafe for non-local communities due to insecurity targets. Fact: in LAMU, Kikuyus are being targeted.” Kabando Wa Kabando said.
Kabando Wa Kabando has asked president Ruto to deploy Kenya Defense Force KDF in the region to flash out terrorist.
He advised that both Gov’t and opposition should pull together In the war against terrorism.
“President @WilliamsRuto should deploy a massively resourced KDF contingent to crash these militias, terrorists.
“If war on terrorism is not won, we will soon have no country to call our motherland. On security threats, government and opposition should pull together.”
