There will be training for Junior Secondary School teachers in Kilifi according to letter by Veronica Kalungu, the Kilifi County Director for Education.
The letter details that the Centre For Mathematics and Science Technology Education in Africa (CEMASTEA) has provided funds to be utilized for the training of Junior Secondary School teachers through the County Director of Education who will cater for pocket allowance for the 824 teachers’ transport, conference package during the training and for payment of trainers who wil be engaged in the exercise.
The letters details that teachers shouldn’t incur any expenses on the training.
“The purpose of this letter it request you to inform the Junior Secondary School head teachers not to incur any expenditure from the Free Day Junior Secondary Education fund disbursed to them towards support of teachers attending the J.S.S. trainings.” A letter to county director from CEMASTEA read.
