The Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Investments trade and industry Moses Kuria has introduced new law to minimise intake of illicit brews which is killing people.
In a statement via twitter, the outspoken CS noted that he has forwarded an amendment to the National Treasury through 2023 financial Bill to retail 250ML wines and spirits at sh 300.
“To put an end to the chronic problem of illicit Brews that us killing our people, I have forwarded to the National Treasury an amendment through the Finance Bill 2023 that the minimum retail price for 250 ML wines & spirits be Ksh 300.” Said Kuria.
