Ngunyi breaks silence on Odinga’s call for mass action.

The political scientist Prof Mutahi Ngunyi has opened up on the Azimio boss Raila Amolo Odinga’s call for mass action.

In a statement via twitter, the political enthusiast professor has said he believes in civil disobedience as taught by John Lock.

However, Ngunyi casted doubt if Odinga will be able to topple President William Samoe Ruto from power

“I believe in CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE as taught by John Locke. But what is the END GOAL of MASS ACTION? Ruto MUST GO? We know this will NOT happen. How does it END? That is the QUESTION Babaman must ANSWER.” Ngunyi questioned.

His remarks comes days after Raila Odinga called for mass action citing high cost of living, taxation and regional imbalances in Gov’t jobs.

In his call for civil disobedience, Odinga’s end result is to see Ruto out of Gov’t under the slogan “Ruto must go”.
