The police Multi-Agency security team have today’s Tuesday 18th April 2023 recovered 2 cows and an AK-47 firearm.
“Today the multi -agency security team that is undertaking ‘Operation Maliza Uhalifu North Rift’, conducted an intelligence led operation and successfully recovered 2 cows,and an AK-47 rifle at Nasur Village, Amaya Location in Tiaty East Sub-County.” Police statement reads in part.
Police also nabbed a notorious bandit at Nakorette and he is cooling his feets in police custody awaiting procession in Court.
“The security team subdued and arrested one person suspected to be a notorious bandit at Nakorette Sub-Location in Korossi Location, he was placed in custody awaiting processing and arraignment.” Police stated.
Meanwhile, the 2 cows were handed over to the owner after positive identification, and the firearm is under safe custody pending further administrative action.
