Willis Raburu lands top position at Cape Media.
Willis Raburu, who left ten over ten at citizen tv has been appointed the director of digital services and Innovations at the fast growing Cape Media.
The media personality will be responsible for overseeing and driving the continuous evolution of TV47, Radio47 and 47 Digital products.
Cape Media, in a statement seen by k47 digital news said Raburu will benefit the company with his extensive media experience that span over 13 years in the media industry where he has served in different capacities.
Willis Raburu Academic:
According to Wikipedia records, Raburu holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Sciences from Moi University in Uasin Ngishu county.
He is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Communication Studies with a focus on Strategic Corporate Communications at USIU.
Responsibility at Cape Media:
Raburu will be responsible for developing a comprehensive strategy and roadmap for the design, development, and maintenance of Brand 47 digital products and presence.
One of his main agenda will be to enhance the overall user experience, ensuring seamless interactions across the cape media’s digital platforms.
Cape Media Director of Operations Wilson Mbugua noted that the company is “pleased to have Raburu on board.
“He will bring a valuable strategic skill set of performance and brand-building digital capabilities to the team,”
Raburu walked out of Citizen TV in June 2023 after 13 solid years of service since 2010 when he joined the station.
Ruburu currently hosts the Wabebe Experience Show at TV 47.
