The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has issued crucial clarifications regarding replacement applications for the recently recruited 20,000 interns set to transition into permanent and pensionable (PNP) roles.

Key Clarifications:

  1. Automatic Internship Continuation:
    All 20,000 recently recruited interns will officially begin serving as interns from 6th January 2025, gaining an automatic 50 marks advantage during the selection process.
  2. Termination Before PNP Transition:
    Successful applicants must terminate their internship contracts before proceeding to fill the Permanent and Pensionable (PNP) application forms.
  3. Unsuccessful Applicants Stay as Interns:
    Interns who fail to secure PNP positions will continue serving under their internship contracts without disruption.
  4. No Premature Termination Required:
    Interns do not need to terminate their contracts before being selected for PNP opportunities.
