The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has issued crucial clarifications regarding replacement applications for the recently recruited 20,000 interns set to transition into permanent and pensionable (PNP) roles.
Key Clarifications:
- Automatic Internship Continuation:
All 20,000 recently recruited interns will officially begin serving as interns from 6th January 2025, gaining an automatic 50 marks advantage during the selection process. - Termination Before PNP Transition:
Successful applicants must terminate their internship contracts before proceeding to fill the Permanent and Pensionable (PNP) application forms. - Unsuccessful Applicants Stay as Interns:
Interns who fail to secure PNP positions will continue serving under their internship contracts without disruption. - No Premature Termination Required:
Interns do not need to terminate their contracts before being selected for PNP opportunities.
This clarification provides much-needed guidance for interns navigating the transition process and ensures a smoother application experience.
