Odinga breaks silence after his Gas station attack and Uhuru’s farm invaded.

Azimio La Umoja One Kenyan coalition leader Raila Odinga on Monday criticized Vice President Rigatti Gachagua after gunmen raided land owned by the Kenyatta family and his East African gas company Specter Limited.

Hours after attacking the Odinga gas plant and breaking several windows on Monday morning, unidentified assailants entered the Kenyatta estate along Nairobi’s east bypass, cut down trees and escaped with sheep.

Opposition leaders said Gachagua supported thugs against former President Uhuru Kenyatta, whom the DP has said is behind the anti-government protests led by him and Azimio.

Those cowards sent goons today to Uhuru Kenyatta’s farm. They have also resorted to sending people to my Spectre factory. That is an act of crime and stupidity,” Odinga told protesters in Nairobi’s Kibera area.

Odinga detailed that Azimio team has followed the constitution in its politics and protests and that those invading other people’s farms and factories are cowards.

The opposition chief noted that the opposition will not be cowed, saying they will soldier on regardless.

On Sunday evening Odinga, in a letter posted on his twitter account had accused the Gachagua of geographing a major operation of mayhem against anti-government protesters.

He detailed that an armoury and command centre had been put up in two different locations, which he alleged were being stocked with all kinds of weapons, such as guns, pangas and machetes. 


Odinga alleged that the weapons were being transported to the locations using a vehicle disguised as an ambulance.
