Authorities in Vihiga County are investigating the disappearance of Dr. Jairus Omuteche, a lecturer at Masinde Muliro University.
According to reports, he went missing on November 23, 2024, after visiting his land in Ebulonga Location, Luanda Sub-County, to gather materials for repairing a cowshed.
His wife, Jacqueline Omuteche, reported his absence to Irumbi Police Post.
Local chief Evans Ouya confirmed the matter and urged residents to assist in locating him.
Investigations are underway to determine his whereabouts.
