A Kenyan Man has revealed the amount of money Kenyans working in Western Countries earn.
His remarks comes after criticism from Kenyans who took an issue with the kind of jobs Kenyans diaspora earn.
The man identified by his social media name as @Elivs_Localman has debunked the claim saying they are paid handsomely.
“I see Kenyans making fun off diaspora Kenyans in the name of “wanaosha wazee America/majuu,” those moving to USA or UK or whatever developed nation beware that a live in carer or a CNA makes at least 600k or 700k a month, these are just odd jobs paying more than a lot of white collar jobs.” He said in a Twitter post.
He detailed that those in 20s are likely to retire at 40s, 45,s 50s and enjoy heavy perk of assured Western pension.
“If you are in your 20s on such a job, you are likely to retire home and enjoy your hard work by age 45 or latest 50, with a heavy perk of the assured western pension, those trolling you majority will still be fighting to keep their office and government jobs at age 60 with loans shafting them left, right, centre and back.”
He added: “Most of them will still be paying you rent to live on your apartments built with pesa ya kuosha wazee. Usichague kazi, kazi ni kazi muhimu ni malipo bora sio bora malipo.”
