Police in Keringet are holding a 22 year old woman named Yuna who is suspected to have stabbed her husband by the name Titus within Keringet, according to police reports.
The woman who was reportedly arrested on Tuesday 5th, April 2022, informed police that her husband came to their rented apartment and demanded for food.
The woman further alleged that while in the process of cooking for him, they had a disagreement and the husband assaulting her by slapping.
In turn, police says, she took a kitchen knife and stabbed him on the left side of the chest.
The husband was rushed by neighbors to Keringet Sub-County Hospital from where he was refered to Olenguruone Hospital for further treatment while in critical condition.
The accused was arrested and placed in custody awaiting processing and arraignment.
“We appeal to the public to report all domestic and gender-based violence incidents to police for legal action.” Said Police.
