Death toll from yesterday, the 2nd June 2023 car crash has risen to 8 people.
This comes after two more people died while under medical attention.
The fatal accident occurred after an overs-speeding personal car collided head-on with a Ginyali Sacco Matatu along Githunguri – Ruiru Road last evening.
It has been gathered that the personal car had initially hit and run, only to later collide with another incoming Matatu.
Road accidents has increased in recent days with many people being killing. It is assessed that accidents happen every week.
Source close to K47 news, if the owner of the saloon car had stopped at the first accident “this would not have happened… Inaitwa karma.”
“From the impact assessment the saloon car must have been 140km/hr or more and the matatu around 60.” One of the eyewitnesses said.
