Governor decries shortage of funding from National Gov’t.

The Kagamega county Govover Fernandes Barasa has decried a shortage of National Gov’t funding to the county.

Barasa spoke this after joined the faithfuls of Mahola Harvest Miracle Centre in East Wanga Ward, Mumias East Sub-County for a church service.

The governor reiterated his resolve to develop the county despite shortage of funding from the Government.

“My administration is commited to the development agenda of Kakamega County despite the chronic shortage of funding from the National government.” Said Fernandes Barasa.

He added: “As the Chairperson of the Finance Committee of the Council of Governors, I will lead from the front in preserving the people’s inalienable right to benefit from their taxes through their rightful allocation from the National government.”
