The Wife to opposition chief Raila Amolo Odinga’s words on church regulations is now coming in handy after more people dies in connection with the religions.
This comes after Saturday Nation publication, a leading newspaper in the country revealed that Detectives have exhumed seven bodies as they start digging up 32 suspected mass burial sites in secluded Kilifi church land linked to controversial preacher Paul Mackenzie, who is alleged to have brainwashed his followers to starve to death.
It should be remembered that during the 2022 campaign period in Kenya, Mama Ida Odinga proposed regulation of some of the churches, but most of the Kenya Kwanza lieutenant led by the former DP, now president of Kenya were up in arms saying she’s against the church and God.
Source questions that if Ida Odinga’s words were taken seriously and actions taken then, Mackenzie guy / pastor wouldn’t have a chance to deceive Kenyans and cause so many deaths.
One source person said “I remember when Ida Odinga called for regulation of church. I also remember your hypocritical fury, insults & childishness you all showed her.
“A church has aided the passage of dozens to Zayun, took them from their families,made them fast to death & burried them. You are MAD again.”
Kenyans on Twitter have now ganged up against Kenya Kwanza lieutenant after the Kagamega Senator Wycliffe Oparanya called on regulations of church after many people dies in connection with religiouns.
Gabrie Oguda called out churches over their silence in all this. He singled out the Evangelical Churches in Kenya on the same in a sarcastic way.
“The Alliance of Evangelical Churches in Kenya would want us to believe their TV sets are faulty and haven’t watched the horrific murders by the Shakahola Sect in Kilifi. But wait until Ida Odinga calls for the vetting of religious institutions and they’ll lift their mouths from the State House feeding trough immediately.” Gabriel Oguda, a columnist at Nation Africa Publication wrote.
Midila remarked “Ida Odinga mentioned abt vetting these “spiritual churches” she was called an agent of illuminati. We need legislation to tame these churches that make pastors richer than their followers Rwanda is doing well since it enacted this law The silence of @OleItumbi & church is too loud.”
Francis Muli: “This Shakahola cult is getting out of hand. Last year, Mama Ida Odinga called for the regulation of churches but she was silenced and forced to apologise. I believe we need to regulate churches.”
