Several people are feared dead in a car crash along Nairobi – Garisa roads just before Kenchic.
According to reports reaching out news desk, several people are reportedly dead while score injured.
The bus, owned by Rayan coach was from Nairobi to Garissa when the accident occurred at thika makongeni and caused both death and casualties.
Operation to rescue those trapped in the car remains underway.
“Road Alert! Accident along Nairobi – Garissa road just before Kenchic. Several dead on the spot and scores injured. @kdfinfo Thika helping in rescue operations.” Said Ma3route.
Eye witness say from the scene says “Nimepita hapo not too long ago. Yatta is so flat. Shida ya hio road ni hizi buses za Garissa. Unachapa bend unakutana na Scania on your side of the road moving like its trying to achieve take off speed.”
It is believed that the driver lost control while trying to overtake another car.
