A number of livestock have been recovered by security team following a call from locals in Baringo; the National Police Service NPS reports.
“Today,10th April 2023, the multi-agency security team received a distress call after bandits stole livestock at Lamaiwe Area in Baringo South Sub-County.” NPS said in a statement.
The security team, NPS says responded swiftly by pursuing the criminals who were heading towards Korkoron and Tandare Valley.
“A firece fire exchange occurred upon contact, leading to the recovery of all the animals (25 goats and 16 sheep) which have in turn been handed over to the owner.” Said the NPS.
