Locals were captured on Camera pouring water at the protesting Azimio La Umoja supporters at pipeline in Nairobi.
The locals are said to have poured water to help the Azimio fraternity to easy the intensity of teargas that was lobbied to them by the anti-rioting police.
Reacting to the love and support of the lacals, the Azimio Chief Raila Amolo tweeted: “The entire Azimio family is grateful to Residents of Pipeline who selflessly poured water down from their high-rise flats to douse our team from the intense teargas. Mungu awabariki.”
Human rights activists, Cyprian Nyakundi shared a picture of the residents of which he captioned:
“Beautiful displays of solidarity in Pipeline as residents fetch water from their houses to aid protesters in relieving the pain of teargas. Not even Zakayo and his goons in uniform can kill the Kenyan spirit.”

This comes as Azimio boss Raila Amolo Odinga call out the police for lobbying teargas at the peaceful demonstrators.
“No justification exists for the brutality that we and the residents of Pipeline have endured this afternoon!. Ruto & Gachagua your days are numbered & count them well!” Said Odinga.
