Banisa MP Kullow Maalim Hassan has passed away at the Aga Khan Hospital, Nairobi; family members confirms.
He reportedly succumbed to injuries caused by a hit and run Boda on Mombasa Road a few days ago.
The MP passed on while undergoing treatment at Aga Khan Hospital following a hit and run by a bodaboda on Mombasa Road three days ago, n South c.
The attacker reportedlybwanted to snatch his phone, he fell down hit his head on tarmac road.
Following his death, many have sent their condolences to the family
Mandera county Governor, Mohamed Khalif hailed him as pious and committed leader. He says he has done a lot for the people of Banisa.
“Innaa Lillaahi Wainaa Ilayhi Raajiuun. Early this morning, we lost our brother Hon Kullow Maalim Hassan, MP Banisa Constituency at Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi.
Hon Kullow was a pious man & a committed leader and Mandera people. He has done his best for the people of Banisa Constituency.” Mohamed Khalif stated.
“He is a man of peace and an advocate for peaceful coexistence amongst the population he represented. The people of Mandera will miss him dearly. May Allah SWT rest his soul in Janatul Firdous & give us all the patience to cope with the loss. Aamiin.” he added.

Kulow Maallim is remembered as an outspoken politician who advocated the rights of Somalis and the constituency of Mandera-Kenya.
