If you have short momemory, internet doesn’t. An alleged picture of Inspector General of police Japheth Koome throwing stone at a car during 2018 protest has resurfaced.
In a picture that has since gone viral, Koome could be seen aiming hin target at a black car.
According to the Narok Senator Hon. Ledama Olekina, the picture belongs to the IG Koome. Olekina questions if police are allowed to throw stones. He captioned the photo,
Olekina: ” Are police allowed to throw stones? “A crime is a crime it does not matter when the picture was taken!” I agree with you Koome!”
“30 January 2018, Mr Japhet Koome, then Nairobi Police Commander, banned opposition supporters from accessing Uhuru Park, and after they called his bluff, resorted to stoning cars of those in attendance. We thank God for the rains” Said Oguda.
