A tragic road accident on the Nairobi–Nakuru highway has claimed the life of former Lugari MP Cyrus Jirongo, with new details emerging from the driver who says he witnessed the final moments before the fatal crash.
According to the driver’s account, the incident occurred at around 3am near Naivasha, shortly after Jirongo’s vehicle had left a petrol station in the Jarm area. The driver claims that as the former minister’s Mercedes-Benz rejoined the highway, it suddenly came head-on with an oncoming , leading to a devastating collision.
