Fake Kenya Power Recruitment Notice Circulating Online

Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has issued a warning to the public about a fake recruitment notice circulating online. The fraudulent notice claims that Kenya Power is recruiting 10,000 youths for training and employment in 2025. KPLC has confirmed that this notice is entirely fake and should be ignored.

What’s the Scam?

The fake notice, which has been shared widely on social media and messaging platforms, directs applicants to a website (www.petiutebe.org) to apply for non-existent job opportunities. The scammers behind this scheme are likely attempting to collect personal information or money from unsuspecting individuals.
