Detectives nub Marijuana valued at Ksh 14M – Kilifi.
The National Police Service NPS detectives nub Marijuana weighing 477 kg which is said to be valued at Ksh 14 Million in Kilifi.
Two suspects identified as Raphael Mbithi, 37 and George Mitti were nubbed in the process.
“Today, 06/12/2023 within SWALLOWS AREA in Kilifi South, National Police Service Officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI)arrested two suspects namely GEORGE NITTI, 37 and RAPHAEL MBITHI, 37 with Bhang weighing 477 Kgs, estimated to cost Kshs. 14 million.” A statement from detectives seen by the k47 News team read.
Also seized in the morning incident, according to police, was a motor vehicle REG NO KDK 020 B TOYOTA HARRIER that was ferrying the drugs. The matter is under investigation by the DCI.
The National Police Service reiterates its commitment to investigation of crimes.
