A rebellion against President William Samoe Ruto is brewing in his home turf barely two years since last polls.
In a viral clip that has since gone viral, a Rift valley leader could be seen giving speech to an already charged crowd.
The clip shows CS Kipchumba Murkomen being booed at Kabarnet Showgrounds, Baringo during The OKM Foundation Peace Tournament.
The reports gathered revealed that the tournament ended prematurely after disagreement.
The clip was shared by the former Nandi hill MP Hon Alfred Keter.
The crowd could be heard chanting “Ruto must go” in the wake of high cost of living and economic turmoil.
In his caption, the Alfred Keter noted that “Kalenjins are united as one people and so is Rift Valley, whether you are in Bomet-Sotik or you are in Baringo-Kabarnet we are all a united nation. If you know you know!”
