Kenyans business man linked to shipment of firearms & explosives to Somalia arrested – NISA.

Somalia National Intelligence & Security Agency (NISA) is reporting that Zakariya Kamala, a Kenyan businessman who was linked to shipment of arms to Somalia, was arrested in Somalia.

This is according to a press release seen by k47 digital news team.

“The National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) has apprehended Sakaria Kamal, better known as Saki, who held utmost significance as the individual responsible for procuring weaponry and explo-sives from foreign sources solely to arm the Kharijite adversary and inflict harm upon the innocent Somali people.”

Sakariye Kamal, a 28-year-old Somali, has been under surveillance by the National intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) for some time, and finally, NISA successfully apprehended him just as he was preparing to disappear and seek out the elusive hideouts of the Khawarij factions within Somalia.

He is accused of being a the mastermind behind a network involved in the illicit procurement of a military container from abroad.

NISA says it successfully intercepted the shipments at the port and airport of Mogadishu in May this year.

He will soon be handed over to the judiciary to be charged with his crimes.

NISA noted that it is committed to pursuing individuals, whether they operate openly or covertly, who are associated with terrorism and advocate for the oppression and violence against the Somali population, both within and beyond their borders.
