The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has officially announced the 1st National Career Conference and Exhibition 2026, a landmark event set to transform how students and parents make career and education decisions in Kenya.
Scheduled to take place from 27th to 29th January 2026 at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), Nairobi, the three-day conference will bring together students, parents, universities, colleges, industry players, and key education stakeholders under one roof. The event is themed “Informed Career Choices; A Skilled and Competitive Workforce.”
The KUCCPS National Career Conference aims to bridge the gap between education and the job market by offering career guidance, exposure to accredited courses, and direct engagement with over 500 universities and colleges from across the country. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore diverse career pathways in fields such as engineering, healthcare, hospitality, media, technology, sports science, and technical training.
According to KUCCPS, the exhibition is designed to empower learners with accurate, up-to-date information, enabling them to align their talents, interests, and academic strengths with market-driven career options. Parents and guardians will also benefit from expert insights on emerging careers, placement processes, and course accreditation.
One of the event’s biggest highlights is that entry is absolutely free, making it accessible to learners from all backgrounds.
Institutions will showcase their programs, admission requirements, and career prospects, while career experts will offer one-on-one guidance sessions to help students make confident, informed decisions about their futures.
