Former Mukurueni Mp Kabando Wa Kabando has  said former president Uhuru Kenyatta has violated the Presidential Retirement Benefits Act, and he should now be retired without benefits except security and with no taxpayers’ maintenance.

Kabando also pointed finger at Jubilee defectors nominated MPs Sabina, Kanini and Kamar saying they have violated the law, must vacate Jubilee seats.

This, according to Kabando, is aimed at growing the democracy of the country.

“To grow Kenya’s democracy, we should safeguard the letter and spirit of constitutionalism and the rule of law. It is not about the persons that we speak but about Katiba and its enabling legislation. Notwithstanding our political affiliations, let’s not be caged in impunity.” Kabando Wa Kabando said.

Kabando asked Ruto to give Kanini Kega, Sabina and Kamar an alternative Jobs in UDA.

“President Ruto should give Kanini, Sabina, Kamar, and their Bunge entourage alternative jobs in UDA. Jubilee party is entitled to its say and way. That is how, necessarily, democracy works. You cannot milk Azimio to feed UDA and still expect to feed on Azimio’s fattening fodder.”

Kabando further remarked on Odinga’s claims that Gachagua’s family is involved in KEMSA scandal.

“At #JubileeNDC2023, Raila claims  that DP @rigathi family is embroiled in sh3.7b KEMSA and maize scandals. It’s for Rigathi to deny or defend self. But Raila does owe country a little consistency. Didn’t he defend KEMSA #covidmillionaires 2021? No sacred cows, past or present!”

“Promoting our young democracy,  it is good that we tolerate others’ opinions. When we criticise and support on public issues, not because we hate or contempt anyone. We also suggest ideas & alternatives. That’s how we build Kenya to be a model democratic economic power. Freedom.”
